OCCUPY FIGHTS FORECLOSURES is taking a stand to defend homeowners from being victimized once again and calling upon the State Attorney General and State Bar to place a moratorium on foreclosures for those victimized by Siringoringo Law Firm.
LOS ANGELES – August 7th, 2013—, Occupy Fights Foreclosures (OFF) and defrauded homeowners call on AG Kamala Harris to conduct criminal investigation and prosecution of Siringoringo Law Firm. The AG's office must declare an immediate moratorium on all foreclosures of families defrauded by Sringoringo. OFF will be making an announcement of where and how Siringoringo victims can receive free legal help and compensation through the Client Security Fund program.
Occupy Fights Foreclosures (OFF), has been working non-stop in seeking help for the homeowners. Recently, the it Law Firm of Siringoringo has come under scrutiny as being another law firm illegally scamming the victims of mortgage fraud.
For months, OFF (Occupy Fights Foreclosures) has been pressuring the Department of Consumer Affairs and the State Bar to investigate the multiple complaints filed by homeowners who retained Sringoringo, but received nothing in return.
Currently, in response to OFF and other homewoner’s complaints, the State Bar is conducting disciplinary hearings against the lawyer, Siringoringo and his firm. The firm has been charged with 25 poor labor practice charges and 14 additional charges. In all the bar has received more than 70 complaints against Siringoringo. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) lists a series of complaints, also.
OFF is calling on the State Attorney General’s office to issue a moratorium on all foreclosures for all the victims of Siringoringo Law Offices, until they are able to get help. The continual abuse of homeowners has to cease. Homeowners should not be punished for trying to seek assistance!
OFF has continued to fight for the rights of homeowners and press for prosecutions. We will continue to spread the word to many other homeowners, asking them to come forward and file complaints with the California State Bar and Consumer Affairs to seek restitution from this criminal law firm. Every month another violation of the homeowner’s rights is revealed and still the foreclosures continue. OFF and its supporters will make every effort to bring these violations to light.
