Our action got featured by the local newspaper of the 2nd largest circulation in Los Angeles.

THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING DEUTSCHE BANK!#FortLucero was on the cover of La Opinion today! It is the 2nd most read newspaper in Los Angeles, after The LA Times. It is an internationally known Spanish language newspaper.The headline reads: "Alto a los desalojos" = "Halt the Foreclosures"The sign to the right reads: "DEFIENDAN SUS CASAS" = "DEFEND YOUR HOMES"

"They Demand an End to Foreclosures" This is great coverage of N13: they explicitly detail our demand that Deutsche Bank honor the loan modification they promised the Lucero family. La Opinion says that even though we weren't a large group, we were "so organized" that we effectively shut down major intersections and held off police for 2 hours. They described how Mrs.Lucero called on Occupy LA for support and occupiers have since been protecting the family's property. La Opinion contacted Deutsche Bank's New York headquarters, but they have yet to provide any comment.
