Blanca Cardenas was wrongfully arrested defending her fraudulent foreclosed home from an illegal eviction. As a result of the arrest, she was illegal deported to Mexico even though her husband and two children are U.S. Citizens.  We are outraged and we're mourning the loss of a nursing mother. 

Please join us at 5pm if you can, we will be canvassing the neighborhood to get the word out and try to build more support around this family.

After it gets dark we will begin a mournful vigil, create a shrine/memorial in front of the house, and pay homage to Blanca.  Please bring candles, flowers, crosses, balloons, other memorial items, etc.  If you can, wear clothes as if you were going to a funeral, please do.  A home without its family is a dead home.  LAPD, on the request of an investor, killed Blanca's home last week.  We mourn this loss.

Bank of America was the bank that had Blanca's loan, we're asking for a nationwide boycott because they are responsible for million of families being illegally foreclosed on and evicted from their home.

PARKING

The street that Blanca used to live on is very narrow with parking only allowed on one side of the street.  To show respect for the community that lives there we are asking everyone to park at the nearby metro station and walk over.  Please try to allow closer parking spaces for those who may have disabilities and park further back if you can.  There is plenty of parking near Cumpston street and Elmer Ave.
